What Quite is Romanticism
The era of Romanticism occurred after the Enlightenment movement. The main idea of this era was to display art in a more personal way. Romanticism allowed artists to break the rules when it came to their artwork and show individuality.

I really like the picture you chose! I am a huge fan of the Romanticism era and I feel like this picture is an awesome example of art being displayed in a personal way. In the first week we all talked about how art is perceived differently be each individual, in light of that statement I have to say this picture speaks to me in a way different than it might to others. In this picture, I see very dark but warm tones which makes me think the artist was at peace with everything in his life. In regards to the content of the picture, I think it furthers my point because when I think of a peaceful area I usually think of an area that is off the grid and surrounded by nature.
