The Process
Currently I am feeling okay with where I am at with the project. At this point I have the very basic starting point of my website created and plan to continue modifying it till it's exactly what I want. Moving forward with this project I plan to continue working on the layout and theme that I want my website to have and continue thinking and researching about information to use. Overall I feel like I am in a good place with the project and hope this feeling continues over the remaining weeks left in the semester.

Hey Nora, I feel like we’re in a pretty similar place so far in the project and feeling about the same too. I also have just the basics of my website down but it was a lot easier to get everything together than I thought. I’m using google sites and the only real issues I’ve run into is trying to insert images in certain places as it can really screw up the layout. Good luck with your website design and project!

ReplyDeleteI am in a similar place as you and I also have my website up. I am still working on the website and it is in the very earlier stages, but in many weeks it will be like how I want it. Google sites does make both life easier when making a site, but some things like publish and inserting images can be a force to do. In time we will get the websites the way we want it and good luck with everything else.
Hey Nora, I think that thus far we are at about the same point in our projects. I really only have the basics of my website done so far, and I am still playing around with the layout and how I was the overall website to look. My website looks absolutely horrible at the moment, but with time I can get everything sorted out!

Hi Nora, It is great that you are feeling confident about your project. Now that you know what path to take it would be great if you create a calendar with dates for the steps to take. This will help you stick to the plan and don't get too relaxed and do everything in the last minute. This is just and advice since it is something that happens to me a lot! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey Nora, I think that we are at very similar places with our websites. I was a little confused at first, but eventually reached where you are at. I think that your thought on theme and design is good, and I've been trying to set mine up nicely as well. I hope that the design in the early stages of the project will help me streamline the rest of the work. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI haven't done much in the way of making my own website presentable, so I wouldn't be concerned if yours looks basic at the moment. It is important to begin somewhere, and moving everything onto the website is the first step in finishing this course with a well-made central repository of all your work.
