Still Making Progress
I feel as if I am in a similar spot as last weeks check in. Of course I have added some new work to my website, but this week I've just had a lack of motivation. I focused on completing a rough draft of my introduction so I still somewhat stayed on my plan I created for myself. Along with the rough draft I also added a new section to my website were I will include some of the artists work and why its important. I'm happy to say that I'm excited to continue on working on research and creating content for my project. As long as I stay on track I shouldn't have to rush in the final week to create content in order to complete the requirements of this project. I hope I regain my motivation to continue working on this project soon so I can focus and whip out a big chunk of the research and writing that I still need to complete. I'm still confident in my ability of completing this project and cant wait to inform you guys on what I have completed in the next weekly check in.
Hey Nora, I too definitely struggle to find motivation doing this work. This week maybe even more than others. I'm unfortunately a big fan of procrastination which doesn't tend to work well with long projects like this. However, I think just because you had a slow week doesn't mean that your project won't be great. Just do your best work when you find the time or motivation and I'm sure it will be great. Keep up the good work, looking forward to the final product.
ReplyDeleteHi Nora, I completely agree that finding motivation is hard. The project seems so big and daunting that I don't even want to tough it. I really have to try to force myself to get work done. I hope that you are able to make up the work you did not do, and try not to get too stressed. Know that you are not the only one that feels this way. I hope that this week is better for you. Keep up the good work and don't lose focus.
ReplyDeleteHey Nora, I also agree with that finding motivation sometimes can be very hard. The project definitely has been going on for a long time. Its good to see your ready to get back on the horse and get riding again. Can't wait to see how it comes out in the end.
ReplyDeleteThat was my mood last week too, I had such a big lack of motivation. I'm doing something similar too by the way. I put up some artists because I was going to talk about just one at first but I couldn't decide who that one artist was going to be so I decided to put up the important ones I want to talk about. To be honest talking about those artists really boosted my motivation because I love their music and what they talk about.
